This public panel from November 2021, brought together local Bay Area Indigenous leaders who tirelessly advocate for appropriate recognition, representation, conversation of Indigenous Peoples histories and cultures. The moderated discussion features perspectives on how land acknowledgements should be contextualized: through understanding sacred sites, the land back movement, land trusts, and taxes, and food sovereignty.
